The Feeding Your Kids Foundation operates an international program to teach parents how to feed their children healthier and teach their children to have a healthier attitude toward food. The Feeding Your Kids program is entirely free to parents everywhere in the world.

Why It’s Free

The Feeding Your Kids program was created in 2009 as part of a commitment to the Clinton Global Initiative.

The idea behind the program is that there are way too many messages out there sponsored by people whose goal is to sell you food, and not enough messages from people who care about helping you feed your kids healthier.

Eszter Erdélyi volunteered to write the program as a pro bono project.

We performed original research with parents and children which led us to conclude that the best approach was to help parents learn. You can find a copy of the original logic model (how we hypothesized the approach would work to bring behavior change) here.

Eszter and her husband Carey started the Feeding Your Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code (EIN 27-2704571), in 2010 to support the program. This website is paid for by Eszter, Carey and the Foundation. They also support helping tell people about the program.

That’s how we can deliver the program with no advertising – we don’t take any money from anyone to recommend anything – and make it completely free.

We hope you enjoy it!

“Since 2005, the Clinton Global Initiative has brought together thousands of business leaders, directors of nonprofits, and heads of state to make a measurable impact on pressing global challenges. The Feeding Your Kids program tackles childhood and teenage obesity by providing concrete ways to help families eat healthier and serves as a tremendous example of how our members are improving lives around the world.” – President Bill Clinton
